Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and travel arrangements made with
Thrive Adventures. By confirming a reservation or making payment, you agree to
comply with these terms in full.

1. Booking and Payments
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be
paid at least 30 days before the tour start date. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required immediately. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card (Visa/MasterCard), or mobile
money. All payment-related fees (bank or currency conversion charges) are the
responsibility of the client. All prices are quoted in USD unless otherwise stated and may be adjusted in case of
government tax changes or foreign exchange fluctuations. Thrive Adventures reserves the right to correct any pricing errors and to adjust tour
costs in line with changes in park fees or local taxes.

2. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refunds are processed as follows:
More than 60 days before departure: 75% refund
30–59 days before departure: 50% refund
Less than 30 days before departure: No refund
In case of a no-show, 100% of the tour cost is retained. A substitute traveler may be accepted at least 14 days prior to departure, subject to
approval. Refunds are made less any bank or transaction fees incurred.

3. Amendments and Itinerary Changes
If you wish to amend your booking after confirmation, Thrive Adventures will try to
accommodate changes, subject to availability. A change fee may apply. Thrive Adventures reserves the right to change routes, accommodations, or itineraries
due to unforeseen events such as weather conditions, national park regulations, or
safety concerns. Suitable alternatives of similar value will be provided when possible.

4. Children and Group Bookings
Children aged 3 to 11 years may be eligible for reduced rates, especially when sharing
accommodations with adults.

Group discounts are available for four or more travelers on the same itinerary. Please
inquire for custom quotes based on your group size and travel dates.

5. Travel Documents and Entry Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond
your travel dates and that you meet all visa and health requirements. Most travelers require a Tanzanian tourist visa, available online or upon arrival. A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate may be required depending on your country of
origin or prior travel history.

6. Insurance and Medical Coverage
Comprehensive travel and medical insurance is mandatory for all travelers and should
cover:
Emergency medical care and evacuation
Trip cancellation or interruption
Loss or damage of luggage
Thrive Adventures is not liable for any expenses incurred due to lack of adequate
insurance coverage.

7. Liability and Risk
Participation in Thrive Adventures tours is voluntary. Clients acknowledge and accept
the inherent risks of wildlife travel, mountain climbing, off-road transport, and
cultural excursions. Thrive Adventures shall not be held liable for injury, death, delay, loss, or damage to
personal property unless caused by proven negligence. We operate under the laws of Tanzania, including the Tourism Act of 2008, which
limits operator liability under certain conditions.

8. Force Majeure
Thrive Adventures is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or additional costs arising from events beyond our control such as:
Natural disasters
Political unrest
Pandemics or health emergencies
Acts of God or government actions
In such cases, we will make every effort to provide alternative arrangements, but cannot guarantee refunds.

  1. Client Conduct and Responsibilities
Clients must respect guides, staff, fellow travelers, local communities, and the
environment. Thrive Adventures reserves the right to remove a participant from the tour, without
refund, if they behave in a way that endangers themselves or others or breaches local
    laws.
  2. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
Complaints should be reported to the guide or tour leader during the trip to allow
immediate resolution. If unresolved, written complaints must be submitted within 14 days after the tour ends. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and
disputes shall be resolved through Tanzanian courts or, where applicable, arbitration
    under local rules.
